Guinness Storehouse/Visitors’ Centre

Guinness Storehouse/Visitors’ Centre, James’s Street, Dublin

Now one of Dublin’s leading tourist attractions, the Guinness Storehouse evolved from the concept of renovating a 1904-listed steel-frame building into a centre which holds interactive exhibitions, training facilities, corporate entertainment areas, bar and restaurant facilities and offices over seven floors. An outstanding feature is Dublin’s highest bar with a 360 degree view of the city. Full pre- and post-contract cost control on the €31m project was provided by Bruce Shaw.
