Bruce Shaw was part of the project team which developed life cycle costings for a number of solutions to the original brief to build a temporary Pier A building at Dublin Airport. The proposal for a €3m low specification building saved the equivalent of 80% of the capital expenditure associated with replacing a temporary structure after five years. It also minimised disruption to existing operations at the Airport.
