Our Role: Cost Management |
The scheme involved the expansion of the existing Marks and Spencer Plymouth Store, which formed an anchor to the new shopping mall development commissioned by P&O. The Store extension resulted in Marks and Spencer plc gaining an additional 33,300 sq ft of sales area over four levels providing the Store with an overall sales area of 78,800 sq ft. The works comprised of the demolition of the existing satellite store and a quadrant of new build in its place including the breaking through into the existing Store at ground and first floor levels. The area of new build and existing Store were modernised to the latest Marks and Spencer fit-out specification.
The procurement route chosen for the scheme was the Marks and Spencer Single Stage Tender with Two Stage Procurement. The project was delivered over a 100 week programme. |
