The scheme involved the re-development of the former Barclays Bank headquarters site on the corner of Gracechurch Street and Fenchurch Street in the City of London.

The result is a mixed Retail/Commercial and Data Centres scheme where Marks and Spencer has opened a flagship store which acts as an anchor unit to the retail district of Leadenhall Market.

With a site area of just under one acre, the scheme optimised the potential within planning, rights of light and covenant restraints to achieve maximum retail and office useable areas.

We worked with the design team and contractor to use a complex top down construction technique.
