This project comprised the refurbishment of the front of house areas of the Theatre, this included the main foyer, various bars, public areas and the provision of a new external canopy.

The scheme also included the construction of new management offices and a major extension to the Theatre's dressing rooms over 4 levels.

The site for the extension was a very narrow piece of land adjacent to the Theatre which required extensive negotiations with the adjoining land owners (Land Securities), in order to obtain necessary support and access to the works.

The majority of the work to the building was carried out whilst the Theatre remained fully operational.
